Brett Noland

Brett Noland is an Americana/Country Folk singer/songwriter from the small town of Irvine Kentucky. Brett himself plays acoustic and lead electric guitar, harmonica, and sings lead. When paired with fiddler and singer Bethany Hockensmith, lead guitarist Dustin Knox, bassist John Lovern, drummer Tyler Woosley, harmonica player and vocalist Brynn Lovern, and percussionist Trent Taylor they form The Brett Noland Band. Influenced by classic rock artists such as Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, classic country artists such as Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, and folk artists such as Bob Dylan and John Prine, Noland creates a unique and original musical sound that is reflected through his songwriting of true personal experiences and storytelling, thus crafted from a wide array of musical influences. A first generation musician, Noland has learned, played, and performed music since the age of 10. His first debut was as the frontman and songwriter of his hometown country/roots band Half Pint Down, with a self-titled album released in July of 2016. Now solo and with a new band and new sound, Noland recently released his debut self titled album “Brett Noland- When the Mighty Falls” in March of 2018. This album was followed by a single released in late 2018 entitled “A Little Log Cabin”. The live album entitled “The Brett Noland Band- Live at La Cabana” was recorded and released Sept 30, 2019. Noland's latest release in February 2020 from Esperanto/Dirty Bird Studios in conjunction with Kindred Records is a single entitled "Liar and Thief", a preview of an album coming soon. Marked by memorable and original guitar and fiddle accompaniments, bluesy harmonica leads, driving electric guitars riffs and solos, harmonized vocals, and a rock steady powerhouse of percussion and bass, no song sounds similar, all written and performed from multiple influences, but with an overall binding flow that makes their records and his sound like no other.
